Mission Statement

Computers On Hand is a refreshing new approach to computer technology. All of our programs are available with Internet access to utilize Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, Outlook Express, as well as understanding and implementing simple upgrades. We will take you where others are too afraid to teach the beginner. The instructor takes you by the hand and guides you to all phases of the course. She/He teaches at your pace. You will understand and have hands-on experience of the Explore program.

We have various classes that run six days a week, so you are able to work full and/or part time. We offer a class called True Beginnings. This course is for all students, especially those who do not understand the explore program. All beginners should know this area of their computers.

How would I benefit from Computers On Hand, LLC classes? Many businesses and homes own computer but are not able to utilize computers to their maximum potential? Children have projects/school reports that may require parents help or immediate access to the Internet? Were you able to help them? Were the libraries closed? What is all the fuss about the Internet and Instant Messaging? What is Yahoo anyway?

Computers On Hand, LLC was a home based office with, computers, scanners, printers, digital cameras and more. We have expanded and moved our facility to a new location with a 10-student classroom and a computer for each student. You can familiarize yourself with hands-on access of the Internet and programs that we have to offer for today’s job market or just for fun.

Were you overwhelmed with classes you have taken or trying to read many books on how to access programs, developing folders, understanding their case scenarios? No matter who you are or what level you are at, computer training is just a fingertip away from the beginner to the advanced user.

Computers On Hand is here to offer services to you at reasonable rates. We offer classes for the business professional to the home user. We will have available later in the year a physically challenged classroom. We would like to implement an after-school program for the beginner to advanced underage student. Creative computers is the class to enjoy during that week break from school with a slide show for parents at the end of the week. Class will be implemented in April of 2004.

Communication in the 21^st century is all about computer technology. Displaced workers need to understand e-mail, instant messaging, the entire Microsoft Office Suite. We are here to offer basic to advanced computer knowledge.
